You may or may not be familiar with the insideadog.com.au website that the State Library has created for younger readers. They have a yearly award called the Inky’s and the winners have just been anounced. The winner of the gold Inky was Town by James Roy, and the Silver Inky went to Before I die by Jenny Downham. The library owns both of these books and can be found by looking on our catalogue or by asking the library staff for help.

Inside a dog is a great website, and has the following for you to do:

  • read and write reviews
  • meet our online author-in-residence
  • win stuff
  • preview upcoming titles
  • read interviews with authors
  • keep up to date with all the latest bookish news
  • listen to podcasts and audio Chapter Ones
  • talk about books on the forum

Plus if you write and submit a review you have a chance of winning a free book!
